Comments keep the conversation about a session attached to the session itself, rather than lost in a message thread.
Who can comment
Comments on a workout or note can be read and written by:
- the athlete who owns it, and
- any coach with an accepted coaching relationship with that athlete.
Nobody else can see them. A pending invitation doesn’t give access. You can edit or delete your own comments, but not anyone else’s.
Comment on a workout
- Open the workout.
- Open the comments. On iPhone this opens the comments screen; on the desktop web app it opens over the workout.
- Write your comment and send it.
Comment on a note
Open the note. The conversation is shown directly below the note’s content. Write your comment and send it.
Knowing when there’s a new comment
Workouts and notes with comments show a comment indicator on the schedule. You’ll also get a notification when someone comments, and tapping it opens the workout or note.
For coaches
You can comment on any of your active athletes’ workouts and notes. Opening a note from a comment notification shows it read-only, apart from the comments. For notes only you can see, use private notes on the athlete’s profile. See Managing Your Athlete Roster.
