Get the app
Chiron is available for iPhone on the App Store and in your browser at beta.chironapp.com. Your account works on both, so anything you plan on your phone shows up on the web and vice versa. Android is coming soon; until then Android users can use the web app.
Create your account
- Open Chiron and tap Don’t have an account? Register here.
- Enter your email address and a password.
- Check your inbox and confirm your email address using the link we send you.
Choose Athlete or Coach
The first onboarding screen asks how you’ll use Chiron:
- Athlete — plan and track your own training. Most people start here.
- Coach — manage training for athletes you coach. Coach features are currently in a limited preview and need a Coach Preview access code. See Becoming a Coach in Chiron.
You can change this later in Settings › Account Settings.
Finish setting up
Onboarding then walks you through a few quick steps:
- About you — your name and a few profile details.
- Profile photo — optional, but it helps your coach or athletes recognise you.
- Connect Strava — Chiron automatically imports new activities and up to three years of training history on first sync. You can skip this and connect later. See Syncing Your Training with Strava.
- Next event — optionally add the race you’re training for, with its name and date.
If a coach has already invited you, you’ll also be offered their invitation during onboarding. Accepting is optional. See Working with a Coach.
Finding your way around
Chiron has four main tabs:
- Home — your next workout and next event at a glance.
- Schedule — your training calendar. Tap + to add a workout, event, note, or import results and activities.
- Insights — your personal bests and longer-term training summaries.
- More — Settings, your Workout Library, My Performance Team (your coaches), Help and Feedback.
